The house is incredibly well-equipped for any group, with flexible bedrooms and three bathrooms. There is even a study and utility providing extra space for getting work done and drying the dogs.

Great place to stay

Six of us stayed for a great week in this beautiful and well equipped house in the Forest of Dean. Loads to see and places to walk nearby including walking from the house. The property was very comfortable with large beds and separate bathrooms for each couple, huge kitchen diner to relax together in and a hot tub for those who wanted it. We visited Symonds Yat, castles, an escape room, Tintern Abbey and lots of places in the forest. Plenty pubs and cafes for refreshments when out and about too. Tracey who looks after the property was very helpful and easy to contact if needed. We had a lovely week.

Our stay at the Lodge was absolutely perfect! There were brilliant walks close by, the garden and hot tub were very private and we actually all said the photos, for once, didn't do the property justice! The bedrooms and bathrooms were large and well looked after, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed for a girls chilled weekend away relaxing and cooking!

Absolutely gorgeous

We stayed at Deer Park Farmhouse as a group of six and absolutely loved it. The cottage is stylish, spotless, and very cosy, with comfortable bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. The hot tub was the highlight, perfect after exploring nearby Puzzlewood and the Forest of Dean. Great location too, close to pubs, shops, and walking trails. The garden made evenings special. A perfect mix of comfort and charm highly recommend!

We spent a wonderful long weekend at Deer park house. The location was great within an easy walk of 2 local pubs with great food and service.Lots of woodland walks directly walking from house. The house itself was spotless and had everything we needed to feel at home .Comfy beds and great linen .The enclosed garden is huge and our dogs very much enjoyed being outside. The hot tub was a great addition . We would recommend staying here again.

Quaint property in the English Countryside for a Wedding!

This lovely farmhouse was perfect for my husband and me, our 2 adult daughters, and our nephew and his wife since it had 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths! Everything was nicely appointed. Beautiful windows, very nice bath fixtures, a hot tub (for an extra fee which we did). The kitchen starter amenities was a nice touch--coffee w/French press, milk, juice, sugar, teas.
There is a washer and dryer in this home which we needed after traveling in Scotland the week prior to the wedding. The dryer was broken at the time, but the weather was nice enough to hang our clothing on the nice clothesline. (the part arrived near the time we left. It would have been nice to know ahead of time, but we were okay with the nice weather & line)
We would definitely stay here again if there was a reason to do so. The much larger Lodge House where all the wedding party stayed was JST NEXT DOOR, making it convenient for us all to be together!! Fun times!

Perfect stay!

We were a group of 5 with a dog and we could not fault the place! The garden was fully secure for the dog, the house was immaculate and well equiped, and extremely clean! We will definitely be returning!

Amazing place!

Weve just come back from 3 nights at Deer Park Farmhouse. What an amazing house, and the garden is just fabulous. So much bigger than we expected. The house is immaculate and had everything we needed. The space exceeded our expectations.
Its so peaceful and beautifully maintained.
The pre arrival information was super helpful.
We were trying to work out when we could return while we were still there. Thank you, we loved it.

A great place to stay

We had a great half term holiday at Deer Park farm house. Tracey was very helpful and friendly.
The house is very well equipped and spacious. The garden is wonderful, our 2 little dogs loved it! We made full use of the hot tub too.

The most perfect weekend

As soon as we arrived we are all in awe of how stunning this property is and once we stepped inside we weren't disapointed! The house was immaculate and beautifully decorated, just stunning in every way! We spoke to Tracey the housekeeper on a couple of occasions and she was really helpful and kind! The location is great because you feel totally secluded yet the village is just down the road with some beautiful country pubs! We had the best weekend ever and I would highly recommend this property to any group of friends or family looking for a peaceful getaway!

Idyllic farmhouse let down by mould

This is a stunning property in a fantastic location for exploring the forest of dean or further afield the Cotswolds.
The only downside was the mould on the walls in one of the three bedrooms - not a little bit but a substantial amount of it across the walls. Otherwise every other room was perfect and a great base for a stay, but this mouldy room had a smell too it and I wouldn't want to stay there again unless that was resolved as it's a potential health hazard.
We did flag the mould to the property management company, they weren't exactly apologetic. Just a 'thanks for informing us'. ???
I hope they resolve it soon as this property is stunning if they do.

The best weekend with the girlies .

We had a very special weekend here celebrating my 50th birthday. The house and grounds are stunning - even better than the photos! Only thing that was slightly disappointing was the lack of mugs and quality of cookware & utensils. We raised this with the booking agent and theyve assured us it will be looked at. Dont hesitate to book though! Its almost perfect

Beautiful quiet spot

We had a lovely week here, in this beautiful quiet cottage. The gardens are lovely too. We liked that each room had access to its own bathroom and the kitchen space was huge.

Lovely house for weekend away

House was well equipped and comfortable. Very peaceful and large enclosed garden. Tracey the property manager was really helpful and welcoming. There is only one under the counter fridge and it is too small for 6 adults who are self catering.

Party of 6 and a dog

Wonderful house and location, loved the jacuzzi and the long garden for the dog. It has everything you need for a get away, would stay there again.

Long weekend stay

The house is beautifully decorated and equipped to a very high standard with every thing that you need whether you want to eat out or stay in and cook. The gardens are large and well maintained and surrounding country side is beautiful
One thing I would say it that I think some door stops would be useful as all of the doors have fairly strong self closes on them and they slam every time you go in and out of a door.
Also the outside furniture doesn't really fit in with the quality of the rest of the property and there are only 4 chairs when the property is for up to 6 people. It would be very nice to have a bistro set that you could sit and eat at and then also some cushioned sofas / chairs that you can relax in. The house has been done to such a lovely standard and this just seems to be a bit lacking.
Having said that we had a wonderful time and can't wait to come and stay again.

Easter stay

We had such a lovely time here. Lovely house nicely furnished enough space for the family.
If you are bringing small children there are no child plates cups cutlery etc which is not a big deal. There is a narrow travel cot and a high chair which is helpful. There are things close by for kids which was great.
Garden space is lovely. Hot tub good quality and a great addition.
We would recommend!

Lovely location

We had a lovely stay at Deer Park Farmhouse. It was situated in a beautiful and very quiet location. The rooms were a good size, with generous sized en-suites. The garden was lovely and the whole place was very dog friendly.
The house was missing a couple of items advertised, there was not a hairdryer in the house (although three were advertised) and there was also not a BBQ available as advised in the description. During our stay, there was a water leak through the ceiling which we reported. Although the plumber was called very quickly, it was a shame that we had to wait in for him on two occasions but understand that these things do happen.
We would happily visit again! Thanks for a great stay!

A perfect weekend away with friends

We were a group of 6 guests who stayed at Deer Park Farmhouse in January. The house was absolutely perfect for our stay. It is a
very spacious & bright property, having clearly been recently renovated to an excellent standard. It had all the essentials that we could have needed throughout our stay & we were all very comfortable/happy. We would all highly recommend a stay & hope to return. There are 2 x pubs within walking distance. We went on beautiful walks both from the property itself, but also from a short drive away. The 2 x dogs within our group had the time of their lives - providing the front gate was shut then the garden was fully enclosed. The hot tub was a lovely treat & something we all enjoyed! Thank you for a fabulous stay.
